Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge reaches 60th anniversary(1/5)

Having endured 7 floods and 77 ferry crashes, China's first road and rail steel bridge across the Yangtze River, the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, reached its 60th anniversary on October 15, still standing strong. More than 18 billion crossings are made by people across the Yangtze River every year. About 300 trains and 100,000 vehicles cross Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge daily. (Photo/people.cn)
